Sabrina Tu

Sabrina Tu was born in Viet Nam.  Her family fled from there to the US in 1977 when she was eight years old.  God led her into the ministry.  She attended Southeastern University and later Asbury Theological Seminary where she received her Master of Divinity.  She served for the last thirty years at various churches in Tampa Bay.  Not only involved in the local churches, she served tirelessly with other ministries for migrant workers, refugee resettlement and hurricane relief victims.

Sabrina partnered with Somebody Cares Tampa Bay through CareFest, pastor meetings and helped coordinate the Korean Prayer Team’s trip to Tampa Bay in 2023.  She was a blessing to them as she served tirelessly to care for their needs and helped them with their ministry schedule while here.  She was a big help in the success of that trip and we are forever grateful.

Sabrina was faithful to her calling.  After struggling with cancer, she went home to be with the Lord on August 5, 2025.  We are saddened by her passing, but rejoice that we have hope in seeing her again in Heaven.  As the scripture says, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.” –Matthew 25:23
